Photo Attributions Part One

Below, I credit every photo on my blog to the best of my ability. 

The photos are credited in order of appearance. 

The photos are credited as of the time that I took the screenshot.  A given You Tube channel that I mention here, for instance, may no longer exist.

Each photo is a screenshot.  If you see a black line at the bottom of a photo, it’s from my iPad.  Apple’s iPad is ( now ) plagued by a black line at the bottom of its screen, and three dots at the top of its screen.  These degrade the usefulness of the iPad in taking screenshots.   

The appearance of someone on my blog does not constitute their endorsement of what I write. 

While a photo may evoke a particular issue’s mood, the person in the photo is not to be associated with the issue itself.  Or with the issue’s headline.  Hence, a photo of Danatar, in a lovely costume-style dress, evokes the mood of Comic Con.  But Kay J is only coincidentally atop the issue that’s titled, “Hitler Lives”.  She is the issue’s lovely cover girl.  I am not attempting to say that she’s Hitler.

I deeply appreciate those who have provided their photos to the internet.

It was the 1970s.  My family had moved to Guam.  On some summers, however, we returned to our old house in Pennsylvania.  There, I had a neighbor who was my age.  His name was Dean.

Dean’s dad subscribed to Playboy.  One day, Dean showed me his father’s copy of the December 1977 issue of Playboy.  I was blown away.

Being a good friend of Dean, I made a proposal:

“Let’s tear the magazine in half,” I said.  “You keep the centerfold.  I’ll settle for the ‘Playmate House Party’ pictorial.”

Dean must have really liked me.  Instead of keeping the whole magazine to himself, which was his right, he agreed to split it.  He got the centerfold ( which I loathed ).  I got the “Playmate House Party” pictorial.

I regard the “Playmate House Party” pictorial as the pinnacle of Hugh Hefner’s artistic genius.  ( Hugh Hefner was the creator and publisher of Playboy. )

Playboy magazine began in 1953.  Censorship kept the 1950s Playboy from showing much.  The same was true of the 1960s.

By the 1970s, however, America ( thanks to loads of young people ) had liberalized.  Hugh Hefner was free to indulge his sexual fantasies, photographically, about “the girl next door”.

The 1980s was a conservative era in America.  Playboy became shrink-wrapped, so that you couldn’t look at it in a store.  Stores like 7-Eleven banned Playboy ( in 1986 ). 

In about 1985, Playboy became “perfect bound” ( instead of stapled ).  You would think that this was an improvement.  It wasn’t.  For whatever reason, Playboy went into decline.

By 2000, Playboy magazine was nearly worthless.  I regard the year 2010 as being the last year that Playboy magazine had any value at all.

Hugh Hefner sold all of his rights to Playboy some years before his death.  He died in 2017.  

The new owners of Playboy reject Hugh Hefner’s legacy.  They delete Playmates ( of the Hugh Hefner era ) that they don’t like.  When Playboy’s new owners became upset with January 1973 Playmate Miki Garcia, they deleted all of her photos from playboyplus.com.  I regard this as an outrage.  Miki Garcia is stunningly sexy.  She was one of Hugh Hefner’s favorite girls.

I encourage you to obtain Playmate photos from the 1970s.  Many of them are fabulous.

No Playmate centerfold is available at playboyplus ( dot ) com!  Why?  Playboy Plus ( stupidly ) removed the ability to download “Playmate Content”.  They did this in the summer of 2019.

To quote Playboy Plus:

“Playmate content is currently unavailable for download.”

When Playboy Plus banned downloads of Playmate content, this eliminated one’s ability to download any Playboy centerfold.

It gets worse:  No other Playboy site contains the Playboy centerfolds.  This includes the web site:

iplayboy ( dot ) com.  ( Playboy’s magazine archive. )

The centerfolds at “I Playboy” are distorted.  That is, the gatefold itself is distorted.  Other photographs at “I Playboy” look as good ( or as bad ) as old magazine pages can look.

It gets still worse:  amazon ( dot ) com no longer sells the Kindle version of “Playboy:  The Complete Centerfolds”.

NOTE:  If you go to Playboy Plus, it’s best to scroll to the bottom of their home page.  Sign in there.  When I try to sign in at the top of the Playboy Plus home page, I get a browser error message.

I called Playboy Plus about this.  Playboy swore that the problem was caused by my Wi-Fi ( cable ) provider.  It wasn’t.  It is the Playboy Plus web site that is generating this browser error.

Playboy Plus cancelled its Customer Service phone number for Americans.  To reach Playboy Plus Customer Service, call their phone number for foreign customers:

1-661-621-9060

Who answers the phone, when you call the international number?  The exact same person who used to answer the phone for American customers!

( The above NOTE is based on information that I learned in the summer of 2022. )

In every aspect of its operations, Playboy has been in decline for many years.  Almost nothing that Playboy has published since the early part of this century is worthwhile.  I only subscribe to Playboy Plus for its content from the prior century.

Sadly, over time, Playboy is banning its content from the prior century.  I complained to Playboy Plus about this.  Their answer:

“We remove content all the time.”

Playboy has disavowed the Hugh Hefner era of Playboy.  

Playboy is replacing Hefner’s nude goddesses with: 

1.  Gay men.

2.  More gay men.

3.  “Sex positivity”.

4.  Black females.

5.  More Black females.

6.  Females with no tits.

7.  Females with tattoos. 

I have nothing against Black girls.  However, traditionally, Playboy was, primarily, a showcase for White girls.  Player magazine was for Black girls. 

Today’s Playboy only cares about “virtue signaling” to other liberals like themselves.  They do not honor or serve Playboy’s traditional customer base.  ( The folks who funded, with their nickels and dimes, Playboy’s success. )

When I first joined You Tube, I made a four hour screen recording of all of my downloaded files.  ( Since, on You Tube, you can only “download” into the You Tube app. )  This four hour recording has proven to be a gold mine.  It has many Danatar videos in it.

Sadly, You Tube’s “downloaded” files were soon taking up too much space on my iPad’s hard drive.  I had to erase all of my “downloaded” files.  I did this in the You Tube app.

I proceeded to save content on You Tube by making playlists on You Tube.  I wound up with so much You Tube content that it was impossible to screen record everything.  I relied on You Tube to save what was posted to it, by its users.  That was a big mistake.  You Tube subsequently terminated my account.  You Tube did this despite the fact that I violated none of their rules.  ( Which are vague, and vary over time. )

You Tube has zero interest in your content.  All You Tube cares about is the following:

A.  Imposing their radical cultural agenda on you.  You’re a target even if you live far from America.  American Government imperialism is a problem.  However, the ongoing, daily problem is Google imperialism.  ( Google owns You Tube. )  Facebook imperialism is also a problem.  Google and Facebook intend to destroy your, and your society’s, values.

B.  Selling advertisements.  Your content exists on You Tube to be exploited by You Tube, to enrich You Tube.  Hence, by posting on You Tube, you’re paying You Tube to destroy you.
